VRC  VARIABLE REFRIGERANT CONTROL  is our crucial technology embedded in Multi-system air conditioners.VRC is the air-conditioning system, using refrigerant as a cooling agent, which precisely controls refrigerant volume delivered from compressor to unlimited fan coil units. VRC consumes less energy compared with split system, CRV (Constant Refrigerant Volume), which refrigerant volume is constantly delivered from compressor to a single fan coil unit.

VRC attains high efficiency by controlling low pressure (evaporating temperature) and precisely controls the optimal refrigerant condition. As a result of accurate volume control, VRC can effectively regulate room temperature and save energy up to 30 %.

This technology has been developed in many countries for years and one of major developers is MITSUTA which combines technology from Japan and United States. VRC also protects environment from green-house effect by reducing heat transfer to surrounding.

Multi-Stage Compressor VRC operates under “Unloader”, the equipment that divides compressor operation into stages followed by required cooling load. For example, 2-ton Multi-system air conditioner, compressor operation is divided into 2 stages.
